The Capital of Dominia and seat of the King. Heartsvain is inland and relies heavily upon imports from the outlying settlements. There is a fresh supply of water from on of the legs of the Spider river which runs all the way from the mountains in the south to a barred sewer entrance near the city gates. It is heavily defended currently with tall ancient walls and a generally well provisioned army. Current skirmishes over Greenvale with both enterprising merchants and chiefs from the Eastern Plains keep a fourth of the usual forces away. The mood of the people is fair and talk of rebellion is generally unheard of.
